How Do I Grease These?

Are these bearings that have to be fully replaced? And if so where do you find them? Or is there a way to open them up and pack them with grease?

The second picture is actually a live axle. I suppose the bearings are more inward.

Usually you just replace the bearings. The live axle also 99% of the time.

And as a bonus to you..........

fronts look to be 1-3/8x5/8 which is common

I don't know why you would replace that axle? it looks to be in fine shape. just a little sandpaper and you can remove all that plant and slide the sprocket brakes etc. off and replace the bearings.

Most likely sealed bearings. I have lubed sealed bearings, had a needle adapter for the grease gun.
Some of the bearing seals can be removed and reinstalled easier than others.
It can be something of a challenge to do it without causing damage, very challenging if you also have to remove the bearing and reinstall.
Good news is that wheel bearings are fairly low rpm so they can put up with a little twang.
Most bearings will have the data engraved on the sides.

I have a feeling the front ones (first picture) have gone bad. One had the grease pouring out as though a seal had burst. Need to figure out where to get them. I didn’t see any markings on this one to identify them.

I said live axle also implying the bearings as said about the fronts. I never said replace the whole axle.

This is the love rear axle. Am I correct in my understanding that the arrows are pointing to the bearings the axle spins on?

to replace these i would take off the sprocket, wheel hubs, slide axle out, pop out and pop new ones in?

if you cannot find labels where would you measure to figure out what size is needed?

This is the front end. To get this bearing out would I take that large lug off, pop off the hub and pop the bearing from inside?

Put these pieces in the ultrasonic cleaner and was able to get an item number off the side of one. Google search and 4 new bearings on the way.
