horstman clutch question

i just recently got this kart and it has a horstman clutch, when i start the kart i have to keep hittin the throttle or else it stalls and it needs a good push before it moves. would that be a bad clutch or does it need adjustment. any help would be great thanks.

i havent heard of this kind of clutch so i got a few questions.

1) is the kart manual? or is it a c clutch?
2) can we get a few more pics? back out a little i wanna see where that lever goes
3) have you cleaned your carb recently?

it's a c clutch, 3 disk L&T and didn't clean carb yet.

Have you already tried changing the oil in your clutch?
