Im looking to build a shifter kart just for parking lots and such so no real competitive racing...i guess what i was wondering is if has anyone else done this? did you wing it or go off plans/diagrams? i want to buy used race parts so i need the frame to fit them.

i'm in the process of a build like this right now. I made my own plans but i'm making most of the frame and parts compatible with standard race kart parts (1 1/4" axle, 5/8" spindle, normal hubs and wheels, etc) you should be able to find the thread from my profile if you're interested
