Honda Valve Spring Compressor

Does anyone know where you can buy a valve spring compressor that will work on Honda or Clone engines? The ones I've seen for sale won't fit around the head properly. I've ran a quick search of this forum and all I saw was homemade ones. I rather buy one if I can find one cheap.

18lb springs are all my thumbs can handle. Even that is pushing it.

EDIT: i made my compressor out of a C-clamp. screwdrivers work sometimes too....


now try to take 12 springs off a chevy motor that have been stuck for 40 years.... with a crappy spring compressor.... i think its easier to do 20 clones haha.

EDIT#2: i think the member blaz or russ showed me a link to one that was cheaper, but i cant find it.

That N-R tool is a brake retainer spring tool for drum brakes, probly less than $5 at an auto parts store.

wow theres a tool for that? haha i have always used a flat head screw driver.

I had forgotten how similar those things were to brake spring retainers. If your ever planning on changing drums, get one of those tools. Its a pain in the *** to get them on otherwise. Ask me how I know
