no i put the needle and seat on wrong i put the lines on the seat that lined up with the idle screw and another little pin the wrong way so it went down but not all the way thats why it was running full; blast so i switched it around it stays running its loud but i have never heard a 250 2 stroke before

Well, honda made the ody fl250, fl350, and pilot fl400. Look up pictures of them. My bet is that it's a fl350. Restored they come in at around $3500 around here. They're a little bit more rare, and parts are harder to find, and believe it or not, the parts prices are even more crazy than the fl250!! You'll probably be in it at over $4000 by the time your done if you use genuine honda parts and do a show quality restore. You could probably sell the frame for a nice chunk of change...

Hey Birdfanatic, Just rebuilt gear box and used amsoil motorcycle WD40. Used to run everything in those gearboxes, tough as nails. And the fact that the carb slide will work 180 degrees is crazy. Your frame looks like a later model 250 to me. Marty.

I have a fl350r. I can't get to it today, but I can look tomorrow. That one up there in the left may be a frame for one. Have you taken any measurements on it? If so I can take some and you can compare them.
