I just bought a used one and the electrics are just hanging. Does anyone have one of these so they can tell me how to hook up the wiring?

Hi there - this may be an off topic question but I am hoping someone can help. I have a generator for a house I am building on an island in Thailand that uses a GX160 engine. I want to fit an electric starter on it if possible. The generator is a Honda EP2500CX (240v version). If I bought one of these kits http://www.clicinformatique.com/nr-racing/stockparts.htm#ELECTRIC would it be difficult to hook up? There's no instructions included on any similar kit I can find online. I've been reading different posts, but I don't know if the generator housing will accommodate the electric starter. Any thoughts? It looks just like this one here: http://www.jojothai.com/Honda_Generator_EP2500CX

Thanks

here is alot cheaper kit, http://www.ebay.com/itm/Honda-GX160...ltDomain_0&hash=item19d03e52ef#ht_1515wt_1223 some kits do not come with the charging coil to charge up the battery, it is not hard to install one of these kits, tools you will need is a 10mm socket extension and ratchet, i forget what size the nut is that hods the flywheel on i think it is 15/16 not sure, but you need an pneumatic impact wrench to remove it, then use a air hammer and a pry bar under the flywheel pry it off and jolt the crankshaft and the flywheel will pop off, then install charge coil and put on new flywheel bolt it on and take the guard off the front of the engine and bolt the starter on, some may need the control box for the low oil sensor re located, hook up control box re attach the shroud and your done, i may have missed some stuff but it is not hard to do
