I have a really nice (starts on the first pull) Honda GX 120 4HP motor to put on the Carter Kart I am restoring for my son. The shaft appears to be a 3/4", but it is not keyed and is threaded on the end. It was originally on some type of water pump. Are there any clutches available that do not require a keyed shaft or should I try to get creative with the dremel and cut my own keyway?

Think I will cut it...

After seeing everyone else's results, think I will cut my own keyway......think this motor is strong enough to propel a manco dingo? I may just use this one since the shaft size is the same as the stock B&S 5 hp.....then I could just use the stock torque converter

Thanks everyone for the help!

I have a video I am making about how I go about making a keyway in a keyway-less shaft. I haven't worked on it in a while though. When it's all done, I'll post it up.
