I just got (2) 3.5 hp Honda GX110 engines given to me.
I have a couple projects these will be perfect for.
The problem is that they have 17mm output shafts.
Does anyone know where I can get a clutch for these or how to modify one for them.

Thanks

BH

I have to clean them up a little better. But first measurement today said 17mm. I will mic tomorrow and get back with the forum. Hondas web site said 17mm was an option for this motor.

Thanks

Hmm, 17mm may be a problem; to the best of my knowledge, clutches come in 1", 3/4", 19mm & 5/8", no 17mm...

IMO, the simplest solution is to machine the crank...

The problem I see now is that the crank has no key way. It is just threaded on the end. Not sure on how to secure any clutch.

IDEAS?

Thanks

Turn a sleeve with 1" od, thread the inside to fit the shaft and cut a keyway slot. Locktight, tack weld or pin it on.
