Ok guys here's my first question. Zack and I are going to be using a Honda GX 390. It's rated at 13 hp. What torque converter would be the best one for this build ? And where should I buy it from? Does it bolt up to those 4 empty holes around the 1 inch drive shaft? Also I bought the rear axel from Northern Tool. It's the one with the differential in it, so it won't " chatter " when making turns on dry pavement. I can't seem to find the matching hubs for it. The ones that N/T sell for it seem very small. The 4 bolts for the tire lugs look to be about equivalent to 1/4-20 type bolts. Yet the front ones we bought are nice and heavy duty. Thanks in advance. Mark & Zack.

You definitely need a series 40. Unfortunately, unlike the series 30, they don't come in a prepacked "kit", you need to buy all the individual components & will end up costing around $300 & change.

You can find series 40 torque converters components as well as hubs, wheels & any other parts you may need at:
BMI Karts
MFG Supply
Go Kart Galaxy
just to name a few
