I made to this to clean out between garden rows and help smooth the kart track. I used 1/2 inch round stock for the spikes. The frame is made out of 1-1/2 square tubing that someone gave me.

Called a harrow, we use them to smooth ground after plowing & to break up clods....Lot a work farmin.....but good eats...old dog

I figure it would be easier to post drag in the title instead of drag harrow. Didn't want to make the title so long.

You should rig up a pivoting rear axle with a lever to bring the tines into and out of contact with the ground. Wheels down for transport, wheels up for dragging/harrowing.

I made one of these, out of the "Bars" off of windows. I just drag it with chain.
You know the security ones. The bars stick past their supports about 6". So on one side I bent them up about 90° to make tines. The thing is pretty cool because I can flip it over (tines up) if I want to smooth out the land, or I can turn it so the tines follow or lead.
I can also turn it 90° so the bars track with the tires or the other way.

Very useful for lots of minor lawn tractor work. Drive way smoothing after a good rain. Tearing up the yard to reseed. leveling the yard after gophers or just after rototilling.
