Ok so I remember searching ebay for a 1” clutch that was 40/420 chain and only 10t. I could not find one or they were very expensive? I think I remember just not being able to find one at all. I noticed old Horstman clutches are 1” stepped down to 3/4 I had a 10t 40 chain clutch took it apart and it slipped the 10t 40 chain face over the Horstman 1” drum. It fit ALMOST perfectly. the snap ring was just flush to the face. Took a file and knocked down the height and the clip snapped on and the clutch has been working flawless since the live axle swap. 10t 60t gearing with the bigger tires worried me before I got to test ride it. I quickly found out the gearing was perfect!FFA7FE4C-DFDB-4891-ABBC-57FAF7B3EBD9.png6B50972B-8717-4660-85CA-723EAA859CF8.jpeg

Ok so I got it wrong entirely.. it’s a comet drum 1” stepped down to 5/8... alot of 3/4 clutches are actually 5/8 drum with a bronze bushing that steps it up to a 3/4 face. I used the max torque 5/8 bronze bushing and max torque 3/4 10t face on a comet drum. and you know what all of the sudden the same exact clutch is 50$ on eBay.. would of been a better choice but I got it done with what I had so.
