The easiest method is to weld chain to a price of var so its flat and solid
That's your rack
Then run a sprocket in the chain
There's your pinion

yeah i am in perth, umm i dont have a chain and the time allocation i have for making the cart is very little.

State wide sell chain
Unfortunately your cheapest option is to get bearing over the net
Not only is state wide quite expensive but unless u are a multi million $ mining company
or someone lokking for a pack of 500 bearing then u are just someone wasting there time

umm i went there the other day and it was quite cheap for 2 sprockets and there hubs( about $30), it is a school project

Must have been generic parts
I was looking for 1 1/2 bearing and they said they had run out and wouldn't order any just to sell me 6
But then picked some up for work
They didn't have any again but flew them over from Melbourne overnight
Just for a $22 sale
