home made moto bike engine problems

I have a question me and my friend took the the rear end of a goped and sawed it off and mounted it to a bike frame, the engine is a 2 stroke 37cc i believe it worked fine for awhile, but recently i think his retarted cousin flooded the motor so we disembled the motor cleaned the carb cleaned the head and the chamber, it started right up on the third pull. but it dosent idle anymore only way to get it started and moving now is to put a lil gas down the carb pullstart it, press the throttle all the way and push the bike with the driver then it works, but it dosent go as fast as it use too and will shut off if the throttle is disengadged for a few seconds or if you stop moving. Any sugestion will be help full and ill try to post pics

Sounds like a blocked jet in the carby, IMO.

Go through the carb again - check main jet and reeds, also fuel flow.
