OK... First is this stuff actually real..... Im mean they probably had some gimmicky ad for JBweld... but that is real...albeit I wouldnt want someone to "Weld' his bike or kart together with it..... but......joint design and maybe this stuff......

Seems fishy.......

Edit: Further investigation reveals that is indeed is a legitimate product.....

Yes, it is. I have used it on ruptured pipes. Even though they rolled a car down a cliff with it, I still don't think I would build a cage using it to replace welds.

But then- I wouldn't put a screen door in the bottom of a boat either.

It's exaggerated for the commercial. I have seen it in use before and can confirm that it works for some types of repairs. I was just making a joke about the replacing welding with it, and I think that building a welded frame is the best way to make a strong and safe kart.

Looks like Good stuff.
The video is totally funny. I love a product that is self deprecating!
You gotta have a sense of humor.
Their target audience is obviously guys that use duct tape to fix everything!

Hard to say. I googled it and read some reviews, some reviewers did say
"I followed the directions to a T"

I have used it for plumbing and it worked well for me. I can' really say if it works for other things.

But given the recent 'no weld go kart' thread I found this extra funny.

If done right it can work... There is a whole host of buildings accros the world using the scaffolding made of bamboo... there are a few companies making bamboo bicycles......
and example...they basically all the same...

Like when welding... It really comes down to the joint design, and how the joint is secured.

This video is hilarious! I watched the whole thing (which in itself is unusual).

So this stuff is the poor mans way to a Carbon Fibre Kart Frame!...

I don't know. I sure wouldn't mind seeing a bamboo go kart... which in its own way is natural carbon fiber (carbon-based fibrous lifeform).
