My son is in a wheelchair. I built an off road wheelchair, but we burned out the motors on it. So i found some stronger motors but they have a completely different mounting system. The original one had 3 holes and the new ones have 4 holes. The tire/rim size is 145/70-6. the rim is have is offset. I have been unable to find any rims that fit the new motors. The diagonal measurement is 83 mm (vertical /horizontal is 58 mm). Do you know where I can find rims with 4 lugs and 6 inch rim.

I would really appreciate some help on this. Is it best to buy 3 hold hub like this one (http://www.ebay.com/itm/6-Douglas-Q...955183?hash=item33b3fbcaaf:g:0GgAAOSwcvdXOyGo) and drill new holes?

Please post pics if this chair... I contemplated doing one too.
My middle child is wheelchair bound.

I dont mean to pry. So you can ignore me.
But on your other thread you mentioned your son can Drive a car.
I am curious is he a wounded Warrior?

No worries, he is a child, he can drive a wheelchair, not a car. He has minimal use of left arm and fairly good use of right arm.

Those are some very cool things you built him. How does the one do in the sand ?

Works great, since the tires are soft they grip the sand with no issue. The only time I need to help is if he bottoms out or sometime on step dunes.
