Likely but there is a number of variants in stock form.

Helmet karts has a few. MJ Motors has a few more. Different motors, wheels, bar work, front end, etc... and then, of course, there are the direct from china iterations. Just ways of making people think they're getting the latest and greatest as you indicated

I see the aluminum plate added around the foot area, pretty nifty. Would love to see that up close

Not a terribly new concept on karts or recreational vehicles. First I saw hand-controls-only on was on a Honda Odyssey ATV from the 1980s (which you might see around your area Honda is worldwide) and then on a go kart known as a Bird Baja.

UPDATE... Dad has given up on getting the wet clutch set up to free idle and not want to drive away by itself so he took his complete engine with tork convertor? off his drift trike and grafted it onto my kart, sooooo much better and i feel a lot safer not having to squeeze the brake all the time to get it to go slower, he said this is a 10 horsey power engine and yes i can do some drifts on the grass now , lolol, some friends trying it out in pics, now he going to add a electric start so i can start it myself and stop dragging him away from his football shows. ohhhh cant upload a short vid of it in action?

I came off mine and it pushed my head in the dirt... it didn't tickle

Good choice to get rid of that wet clutch. Didn’t seem right on a kart unless it was manually operated like a motorbike.
Maybe it needed servicing?

There’s workarounds for posting videos, a Gewgle video or one that’s on Youtube first and linked here. Cannot directly embed a video, I‘m gonna ask the Admin what can be done.
