I do not have a job, but doing odds and ends here and there make some money. Selling a cellphone, cutting grass, etc. I nearly $#!+ myself today when I went to buy a Mt. Dew at school this morning and realized I had over $200 in my wallet. These little things add up quickly. I then got really scared because there are some less than respectable characters in my school.

At least you had more than you thought and not less. Almost $#!+ myself the other week when I deposited $70 in my bank account and the receipt showed my current balance as $76 and some change.:toetap05:

True, but I a I would never get a moped when I could get a Motorcycle. Mopeds are notorious for making you look like a crazy environmentalist, or a lard-***, or both.

With a bike you just look like a badass.

Maybe ride a moped to the point where you can save enough money to buy a car. You know, buy a moped, get a job, save save save, sell moped, and buy a car. Use the moped as a segue to a car.

yeah fair point. I was trying to figure out how I could get my minibike from home to the bus stop 5 miles each way every day without it being nicked/ vandalized and me being stopped- its not going to happen. It would also be a massive bummer if it were to break 5 miles from home, or not start or something!

see the cool thing about my school is, if your in robotics/engineering, you can take and ride your mini bike to school, park it in the classroom with the robotics teacher, end of the day take it outside, crank it up and go

Well before i was 15 i never much got my hands dirty just made my brother fix everything. When i was 15 i bought a 1946 willys jeep that was in the woods for 15 years with a tree growing through it for 200$ Spend 6 months or so fixin it up and it was done by jr year. but i was only 17 and my parents wouldnt let me get a jr licence till sr year and i was 18. I had a job when i was 16 at a auto shop cleaning up at night. My brother was a wrench by then so i had an easy in. Plus it was right down the road. Money was never really a problem just pinch those pennies and dont spend it unless you really really want to. Of course i never bothered to have a "social life" i learn from other people mistakes. Girls are trouble and thats a fact
