High School Kart Project- Suggestions?

i wish we did any of this at my school my auto tech teacher doesn't do jack! But keep things simple like everyone else has said and i would buy some good plans...especially if your not knowledgeable or have previous experience building karts. Good Luck!

Sway bar? What are you calling a sway bar? are you talking about the tie rods/track rods?

What is the chrome bar that looks like it is attached at the spindles and then goes up to the front? It kinda looked like a sway bar to me... Not the tie rods...

Nice, that's cool to see that somebody else has done this. I'm trying to see if I can find a place that would cut us a deal on parts. I want to fabricate as much as possible, but things like the seat, steering wheel, wheels, and tires obviously have to be bought. As well as drivetrain parts. I mainly want my kids to be fabricating the suspension parts.

Kingpin inclination should be around 10 degrees right?
