I was wondering what all you modded big block guys are running for torque converters. I'm seriously thinking about building a 420cc for the killowat, but right now, I cant really afford to build the engine, if I have to have some crazy, high dollar drive setup to make it work. Is anyone running a regular old 40 series with their built big block? Like 20-30hp range?? Will it hold up???Thanks in advance fellas👍

I am going to try a Regular 40 Series Knock Off.
But I am going to try to keep the engine RPMs around 5000 or lower.
Higher RPMs mean taking out the counter weight and required balancing the rotating assembly.
I think TCs aren't rated for much more than 5k or 6k RPMs too.

BigMark on here went with the 44 Driver.

Joe-405 also went with the 44 if I remember correctly, but had some issues.

I think Aham is going to use the 40 series.

I have seen people with golf carts using the 780
