Hi All! I am going for an off road Kart. More aiming for torque than top speed. 50Km per hour would be more than enough. Hoping to go up slightly steeper than average hills say 12 to 15 degrees. Kart weighs about 220 kg with passenger and driver. I am currently eyeing a 2000W 48V electric go kart motor from VEVOR. I will be running Lithium as I own a battery company so can get them at a good price! If you have the time or could be bothered could you let me know if this motor would work well? The 72V 3000W motor is an option but battery starts to get really expensive.

How strict are you guys about the diy thing? I didn't make a kart rather I bought a cheap chinese thing with the intention of converting to electric. Is that good here? I have been advised more than once to chuck these motors and just get a qs motor (and of course, esc to suit).... buut I...
