Hello again,
The motor will be the predator 212, it’s 6.5 hp and $150. And lots of doo dads to upgrade later
This lets you see a bit more of the frame, and potential stability bs instability. The front wheel was terrible and will be redone.
Do the body & rear axle appear solid enough? I can say I am 250 and sit on it with 0 feeling of give. I do understand that sitting still is much different, but not sure how to test otherwise.
the other option is to buy a $100 metal gokart frame from a friend, it has the roll cage. My friend bought it used from someone he knew. I have not seen the kart, so condition is unclear. No engine, no wheels, exclusively metal frame.
.
I would have preferred no roll cage, ( basing this want on the race gokart a I’ve seen) I don’t want a race gokart. I would like for my 3-11yrar old kids to ride it, I’ll have to make some sort of variable throttle governer, thinking something to block the gas pedal from full compression.
And I would like for me to be able to ride it, do donuts, have fun, so I would like it to be solid.
So option =
#1) Rebuild front end of gokart #2(in pics)
#2) buy ~$100 frame, with roll cage,
#3) radio flyer wagon as a frame
I know I can buy frames, but the ones I have found are out of my price range. Price range for frame is between 50-100. I have wood and am more than capable to use wood to build
