Hi all from New Zealand.
At home recovering from a hip replacement op got another in 5 weeks and have been thinking about building a kart i already have an old air cooled Yamaha RD 250 engine sitting in the shed somewhere and thought that could be a good start. Ive had grass-karts before but never built one and was wondering if anyone new the angles for castor camber and KPI

Wow another Kiwi on here... small world heh? Where abouts are you from?
Cant really help on the caster and KPI.. Sorry :'( But good luck with the build.

from the south island near oamaru in the haka valley i'm a tractor driver in my 30's on a sheep and beef farm

I just had a look at some race kart drawings, here is one of them, as you can see it is 9 degrees kpi and 7 castor.
pm me your e-mail if you want the the complete plans, I also have plans for other race karts, let me know if they will help.

They would be an ideal grass kart basis, and would suit the motor you have.

Almost forgot, if you are using the normal grass kart tyres, then you don't need camber, as far as I know even race karts don't use camber.
