Hey y'all,

Father/son team with our first kart. I always wanted one when I was a kid but never could have one; so I'm doing things a bit different with my son. He's the perfect age of 12 and I never really grew up so we're both really excited to start out.

We got a hold of an old, small used kart that needs a fair bit of work done to it and we have a lot of questions so thanks in advance to everyone on here.

Yeah, and they hit it dang hard. The steering linkage is bent inwards too, making turning difficult. We'll need to cut off that front guard and bend the linkage back out. Luckily though the front axle doesn't appear to be out of alignment.
