I just picked up an old Klipper Kart comet II for my kids. It has a 5 hp Briggs and Stratton engine and no seat. I found some cheap material and foam and made my own seat cushions. I took off all the "metal" from around the engine sanded it, wire brushed it, and painted it. It is looking pretty good. However, we have a rough yard and there is no suspension... so, we either are going to have to get another go kart or pay some serious chiropractor bills.
