im new to the forum as i am looking for advice a nd help regarding a shifter kart im building!

i currently have a 02 haase chassis to which im wanting to fit a cr125 engine to! my problem is that this chassis is not shifter specific and doesent run the fittings on the column support to mount a shift leer to so was hoping memebers could post pictures of there shift lever installs if they dont mind! i have found jarm, engine mount etc etc at swedetech which i will be purchasing soon.

also i would like to know what tooth rear sprocket is recommended for a 50mm axle on a standard spec engine!

thanks alot and look forward to the replys

Heres some pics:
(clutch-lever mounts to the column, but the shifter usually mounts to the frame)

The axle sprocket you select usually depends on how big (or small) the track is where you'll be raceing. But If your not sure, I'd instal a 25-tooth axle sprocket for a CR125 engine.

PS: You really need to instal front brakes for a CR125 engine,
It'll be so dam fast you wont be able to stop very well with rear brakes only...
Some tracks may not even let you run practice laps until you have front brakes with a CR125 engine. But they will let you practice (or enter races) if you have a CR80 engine, most 80cc shifters dont have front brakes, but most all 125's do because they really need-em!!!

...had to wait for approval from administrator...

All done. The reason why you had to wait for approval, was because you were posting external links to your images. If you are a new member, you aren't allowed to post more than a certain amount of links in your first few posts. After you have racked up like 50 posts or something, this doesn't happen anymore.

This was initiated to stop spammers from coming on and posting a whole bunch of links. This way we catch the spammers before they actually get the chance to spam

Is that a new thing that was just implemented? I know we talked about it before...

Hijack over :D

Please can anyone advise and put some links up to a 50mm rear axle which has a key way slot in the axle ,so i can fit a sprocket to the inside of the second bearing carrier looking from behind the kart! are these generally available or is it something i will have to get machined?
