Hi all from Newbie to Karting

Hi All,
My names Gaz and i've just decided to play around and build my first go Kart with my son. He decided to buy an old Kart which is not working nor has any wiring with it.
The Kart has an old Strimmer Engine on it, which we don't know is working or not, So this build will be an experience for us both. Probably be using this forum quite a bit to get help on wiring, as never done this sort of thing before.

Welcome to the forum! Why not star a thread in the Photo Gallery and projects section and toss up a couple pics?

When you say "strimmer", I think that's what they call a "weedeater" on this side of the pond. Small displacement maybe 25-50cc, probably a 2-stroke? Must be a mighty small kart

Welcome. I agree with toystory on the small kart comment. weedeater engines are generally underpowered for large karts
