HF Predator Sale?

I'm betting the same individual is behind all the sellers, just some have had a stolen card get caught and been shut down and some have not. Anyway, glad some of you have an engine that needs a purpose now, don't forget we like pictures.

If that's the case, I'm going to file a dispute through Ebay claiming it's not as described and see if he/she can be smoked out. Kind of like scam the scammer. It would be interesting to see what would happen or if the seller would respond. I know someone earlier stated they wouldn't respond to his questions.

I just bought a Manco 606 for my daughter and had been looking at the Predator 6.5 for a power plant...seeing this thread, I looked at the HF site and the sale is good through 11/30/2016 for $94.99, although not easy to find on their site.

I am at Harbor Freight almost every day (just to waste time some days). If there isn't a sale or I don't have coupons, I ask when the next sale is and then threaten to stay in line until the sale starts. I warn about the possible odor and how it might hurt quarterly sales. The cute girls that work there normally scan me a coupon from the drawer. I pick my checkout lane carefully.:thumbsup:

It does not look to be an issue.
3 out of 3 members that ordered these engines ALL received them this week.
So I am not sure what you are looking to "smoke out".

Mines suppose to be here Monday ish. Anyone get one from Florence South Carolina that was a hemi. Guess it won't hurt to get a non hemi as I have two of them already.

Yes... This is something not very well known or talked about.....but you can haggle anywhere!!!

Something out of a package, slightly damaged....or just a coupon deal or competitor pricing.

Try not to do it during a busy time....do not negotiate in front of other customers....but get the store manager aside and make your proposition. Now...for a coupon deal...no problem...don't need privacy...just a manager...(if the cashier doesn't do it automatically).... But....I'm talking about something else....say...a display Predator for example...and they are out of stock.

I need to speak with a manager...."I really want (need) that engine today....I don't want to pay full price for something out of the box...." Almost no place will sell anything with an OPENED box.... " I'll give you $45 for it."

Sometimes it works. Opened or damaged boxes...but ESPECIALLY slightly damaged goods.

Just something to keep in mind. I've done it...it works.
