I was able to pick up another Manco Dingo for the stable....this will be the third. I will be installing a HF 6.5 engine. As you all know the gas tank hits the back of the seat not allowing for any adjustment in the chain slack. I know that I could remove the tank and install something one on the back of the headrest or mount it somewhere else. I just wanted to get input from others on doing this. I am reluctant to cut the back of the seat support. Just wondering what the options are and would greatly appreciate any input from others or ideas on doing this without hacking up the kart too much. One of our other dingos has a HF engine but it was missing the engine mount when I got it so I just installed a new one farther back... so it works. Thanks in advance.

Here is my Dingo. The tank did hit the seat. I just found a tank off an old generator and used it. I think the clone looks better with the tank and airbox off.

You can also rotate the pull start to point out bike. The Dingo I just left pointing forward. The yerf dog I pointed it out back.

I love the Dingo's Best riding turning Kart I have ever had. Nice karts.

Oh ok, I thought it just didnt allow for chain adjustment.

Ya man the tank hits the seat loop bar on the dingo. You have to modify the loop bar or remove the tank.

In this pic see how close the tank is to the seat loop bar and seat.

What you did was a mod to the hoop right? You said you do not have to mod it.

How does the seat feel at no angle? Can you post pics? Like to know how far you bent it up and the angle? I am a larger guy so moving the seat was out of the question.

No spit! I dunno what you guys pay, but we just passed $1.20 per litre. There's 3.78 litres to the gallon, so that puts us above $4.50/gallon... Funk me!
