Today i just set up my throttle to the engine. It did good for a bit but then after awhile the governor stated acting up real bad.

It started being hit and miss wether it would full throttle or the governor would restrict it bad.

I think i may have broke or bent a linkage. cause if i by pass it by pushing on the linkage it will throttle up fine.

Problem is im not sure how to tell. is there anything i can disconnect to check?

Go over everything from the pedal to the carb. Push the pedal all the way down, and make sure it moves the governor control all the way open. Release the pedal and make sure it returns all the way. If you have cable anywhere (I'm sure you do) make sure the flexible conduit is unable to move back and forth. If it does, clamp it down.

Jack up the rear, put the front against a wall or tree for safety, and start it. Have someone operate the pedal while you observe and listen to what's going on.

Obviously, it would be beneficial to remove the fuel tank and airbox at some point to inspect everything.

You can double check governor adjustment like so-

-Loosen the pinch bolt that holds the governor arm to the governor shaft.
-Rotate the governor arm until the carb as at WOT, and hold.
-Rotate the governor shaft in the same direction until it stops, and hold.
-Tighten clamp bolt.

Anything bent or broken externally should present itself as obvious.

Disconnect what exactly? Your foot throttle? Sure. Disconnect it as you connected it, and test with the hand throttle. The governor? Not really. You've tied your throttle into the governor control (engine's hand throttle). If you disconnect it from the carb, you will have no control whatsoever.
