Hey everyone i am new to the go kart realm. I have been messing with pocket bike for quite some time no and decided that i would like to build a go kart. And i guess perfect timing with the contest going on and all. So you'll defiantly see me entering that. Look forward to building with you all.

Eh plans really ain't my style. I'm more of a lets cut bend and weld and see what happens guy. I'm am planning on using golf cart or quad rims and tires. I bought some hf ones and than read all of the nasty reviews so I'm returning those and trying to find some for a decent price. What size tires do u guys recommend on a single seater. Also noticed alot of guys use doner quads as parts.Found a 110 Chinese quad near me for 150. what do u guys think

I am glad you returned the HF rims. Good call. Tyre size is a personal choice I suppose. Smaller wheels are better for onroad, and larger for offroad. Between 12" and 16" I suppose would be good.

Quads are good for parts. You can use A arms, breaks, any cable, wheels etc. 150 also sounds reasonably decent for a donor
