Update, i wish i would've gotten copies of the xrays i had dine yesterday. It's worse, i twisted my arm wrong Sunday night and re broke it. This time the two ends of the bone are completely separated. I'm going in for surgery on Thursday morning. Plate and screws is what the Dr. ordered. I'll get someone to take pictures so i can share them:thumbsup:

Looking at things a bit differently could help....

:funnypost::lolgoku: Tony, you need to quit worrying about your age, and pay more attention to your personal mileage. Speaking for myself, I've got a left shoulder that will most likely get never get much better than the 80% range of motion that I have now, a left knee that is probably going to have to go under the knife for a second time (similar injury, but not related to the first surgery), and a whole lot of other joints that just love to remind me every morning that it's going to really suck if & when I get to old age.

For the record, I'll turn 45 in May.:surrender::oops::surrender:

:thumbsup::cheers2::popcorn: Pat

I'm not far behind you Pat (in more than one way); I'm 43 & also have an injured left shoulder (torn supraspinatus tendon), a damaged right knee &, now, a damaged left ankle.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not hung up on my age; if it wasn't for the aforementioned injuries & the fact that I have two grandkids, I wouldn't think of myself as being "old"

:cheers2: Tony, I think what I was trying to get across was that a positive attitude (which can be in really short supply sometimes) is one of the few things I have going for me (most of the time).

I've had people get righteously :censored: at me because I've shown up for work with a H*** project in front of us; because I WASN'T the one throwing tools or threatening to kill someone. Apparently, if I was still trying to move forward, then I was supposedly the one who was wrong in the head...

That used to be me (throwing tools & whatnot) :lolgoku: These days, I'm a bit more laid back. Don't get me wrong, I still lose it from time to time but, not as bad & not as often...

Didi I see something in the last few days that you're 40?

Yes you did, and yes I am!

The only difference between now and twenty years ago, is the time it takes to heal.

I've pulled back the throttle on a lot of things I do since my son was born (because I don't want to leave him without a Dad), but I still get busy.

Age is a state of mind... kind of. At some point, my body will protest, and refuse to cooperate. Until then....... let's go!!!!!

I still skydive when I can, but it's kind of expensive, so I only get to do that a few times a year. Only paid for video the first time, so I could show family and friend.... every time after was strictly for my adrenaline fix.

:funnypost: :roflol: I've only flown commercially twice in my life (both legs of the same trip), but I've flown a couple of dozen times in small aircraft. I have an Uncle who retired out of the US Air Force as a Lt. Cl., and a second cousin who retired out of a major airline as one of their senior 747-400 pilot/instructors. The thing that has me wondering about skydiving is the same basic question they all ask: who would be willing to jump out of a perfectly good airplane?

Inquiring minds would like to know.....:ack2::stir::devil2::devil2:

LOL.... Wow.

Well, I do play guitar, but I'm no cat whisperer. Though, I do like to play with.... meow ;) :D

I really hope I'm not as unattractive/weird as that guy.... but, if I am... don't tell me :p

And Pat, who would jump out of a perfectly good plane? ME! Haha :) You should try it, it's INCREDIBLE.

Tony, I'm sure you're going to heal eventually. In the meantime, just keep making fun of me to make you feel better :D I'll give you more opportunities for sure ;)

:wai: Age is like mind over matter. If you do not mind it does not matter. Injuries take time to heal, it just seem like it takes longer as are age advances. Hang in there, it has to get better.
