hey, sometimes I ramble
Hey, I don't have a go kart and I'm not building one.. I like to make plans of things I may never do though.. haha. I would build a go kart if I had the time but I restore antiques cars and build hot rods for a living so after a day of welding and fabricating, welding and fabricating is pretty low on my list of things I feel like doing haha
The last go kart I had when I was younger was Murray, I think, with a 7.5 hp Tecumseh. I cartwheeled that one like three times after catching a stump mid-drift... The only other go kart I ever had was home built by someone that wasn't me.. I never drove that one, I was in the middle of putting a Kawasaki dirtbike engine on it when someone offered me more money than it was worth..
Now I've recently had my mind set on building my own dune buggy/kart chassis with four wheel independent suspension and a motorcycle engine of some sort, but maybe I'll get more into detail on that some other time. I also just picked up a free Subaru Justy. So who knows, maybe that'll turn into a buggy of some sort once I get my own garage built at my house.
