Hey Im new and in need on help

so Im Nick, 24 and i just got this kart and to get it running i need a torque converter. but considering the size of the wheels and the 6.5hp 3/4shaft engine i didnt know which one would optimize the power?

U need a torque converter for that beast. U may get lucky and someone here may have one or try ebay i know the have the nock off ones for $100 new

Even with a TC, you are going to have to gear REALLY low to compensate for those tyres. This means you are going to be riding pretty slow. I would gear at about 9:1 at least

What do you suggest i do? Change the wheels out? Or get a more powerful engine? And then which torque converter should i go with? If i just change the wheels out i should be ok with a 30series right?

The cheapest option in my opinion would be to get smaller wheels. You will then be able to use the 30 series tc which works perfectly with the 6.5HP. If you get a bigger engine, you will probably need to drill more mounting holes for it, and the alignment of the sprockets may also be off. A larger HP engine would probably also necesitate a Comet 40 series to handle the extra HP. This will also set you back more $$ than the 30 series will

I heard recently from a friend that if i get a bigger sprocket i could use a centrifugal . Any thoughts on this?
