The ultimate methanol mix would be going to the hobby shop and buying some 2 stroke pre oil mixed methanol/nitromethane blend. I hear the stuff eats non tygon fuel lines so be careful. And there is NO way your gonna run methnol on a stock unmodded carb, on a briggs diaphragm style you have to drill out some holes in the body itself making it worthless for pump gas use.

Im not sure ,all i know is it all has to be re jetted and pilots are generally fixed and not removable from the carb.
