Okay i have a 8 hp b s and i thing the clutch has 16 teeth can some one tell me what size chain i would need i could use so help thank s

That rear sprocket is bit small for that 16T clutch. That gear ratio is 3.75. I would bump that rear sprocket up to like 72-80 for a 4-5ish gear ratio. And tires should be atleast 13 or 14" tall

unless you have little 10" racing slicks, that ratio is far too high. measure the pitch and width of your sprockets to figure out what chain you need, no one can tell you by looking at pictures.

There is no real way of telling from those pics, none that i know of any way. Best way to find out is to measure pitch. Measure the distance from the tip of one tooth to the tip of the nearest one.

thanks for the info but one thing i dont need to no how long of chain i have chain but all it dose is slide around the teeth i need to no how to get the teeth to sit in side the chain thank again

Its probably the wrong size chain if it doesnt sit in the teeth.

Your idler sprocket is 3/8" pitch and your drive clutch is 1/2" pitch dude. You need to replace one of them, as Krunch said, you need a larger drive sprocket.

Here is the deal, you have a 16t clutch, you would need a sprocket larger than your tire not to destroy that clutch from the poor ratio, you now need to build a jackshaft, give us the final size you choose to use on the tires, and throw up some more pictures so we can give you suggestions.

This will not ever work without a new driven sprocket and a jackshaft. 1" drive clutches are very expensive especially with that tooth count, you'll be throwing away too much money trying to make this work alternatively.

Dude, its cool. It looks like your sprocket is off of a Byrd kart. I could be wrong but my eyes say 3/8" on the sprocket. The whole deal here is that you don't have anything matching.
