Hi, I'm Don (a.k.a. gocartkid) and I found this forum while searching for parts for my kart. Just checking in and saying hi! This site has been helpful so far, though I'll probably think up a few questions. I'm building my first kart (I'm 13), and I should be done my the end of April if everything goes right (yea, sure). Before this I have built-up a craftsman tractor (them things can go fast with some work!), and I'm also working on a vintage walk-behind mower. Anyway, glad to be here!

I'll try and find my pics of the tractor...I've since sold it though I had a LOT of blood, sweat, and tears invested into that thing! I did a full-blown resto on it, and basicly rebuilt the engine and messed with the govener for higher engine speed (which translates into higher overall speed). Anyway (like I said) it started to get a little slow for me, so now I'm building a kart.

You guys won't believe this one....ever sold something only to buy it back a few months later? That's exactly what I just did with the tractor. It is minus engine now, so I'm working on that. I'm thinking of making a racer out of it. We'll see! I'll get pics in a little while.
