Thy Art is Murder
Well hey everyone my name is Corey, I am new to the go kart world. Well at least to the performance world of it. I live in Woodland Hills California and am 19 about to be 20. I am normally into Honda's( I have a 1989 Crx with a B16 swap and other mods) but this hobby seems a little cheaper and still just as fun.
So on to my cart. As of today I have a 6.5 hp Predator engine on a solid axle. The clutch is a 12 tooth and it had a 72 tooth sprocket. That was fun, I was drifting all over the place and doing burn outs, but tires are expensive because I have a weird size. They are 12x6.00-6. If anyone can find another brand other then Cheng Shin thanks. So I bought a new 60 tooth sprocket and it came today! So hopefully this helps with the tire issue, but I hope I like the top speed I gain. I hope it's worth it...
I also have 2 questions, is it safe to fully remove the governor screw? And if I do will I notice a change it power?
And
As I am new to performance karting where can I buy parts like exhausts?air intakes? How do you even fit the intakes on?
Thanks, here are a few pics of my kart. And if you ask about the seat, it is made of wood, designed to fit a cover. I thank my step dad in helping with that.
