I was hoping for some help identifying a go kart i picked up recently. I need to replace the brakes, throttle cable, and carb but was hoping to find the parts by figuring out the make and model.

It's got a predator 212 on it, so the carb isn't hard to find, it's the cables and brakes.

Most everything for go karts today is generic. Having the brand and model # most likely won't help a bit. It's not like a car or even a modern motorcycle, where a specific part # is necessary. Get on the website of " Go Power Sports, or
OMB Warehouse " and they will have every possible part made. Lots of pictures so you can see what you are getting. Look closely at the parts you are replacing, or the mounting configuration if it's missing. Not that hard. There's only a few combinations possible. Nice looking kart, and welcome to the forum.

My guess would be an American Sportworks Blue Lightning kart/buggy with the GY6 replaced with a Predator. Similar to the Helix 6150.

You picked up something and you don't what it is. Why would you do such a thing? What did the previous owner say it was?

Got more pics (front/rear/side views)? It has no markings on it whatsoever? Honestly it's not an easy task ID'ing these new "karts" as a lot of these Chinese buggies all look alike. They have a dozen different names GK, TK, Tao Tao, Hammerhead...

You should have titled this thread a bit differently perhaps. It sounds like it belongs in the Introduction forum and not what it really is (asking for an ID). A lot of people are going to ignore it out of hand.
