My son has been working hard on this frame and doing a great job , we just need to finish the rear end

It's looking pretty good!! He's doing awesome! One question though, are those harbor freight wheels? If so, many members here caution from using them as they tend to fail.

Thank you and yes they are HB wheels they cost on sale $3.99 each ...What kind and where can I get good wheels...Bob

That's looking awesome, how old is your son?

I agree with the above; those wheels won't last long. I would go 13" tyres on 6" rims.
Good thing this came up before you did the back end or you may have had problems with levelling the kart

My son is 29 yrs. old and very artistic (like his mom) he mesures 3 times cuts once and he is very carefull on the whole project he puts his heart and soul into it...

Why the hi angle on the tierods? And how does it work? also wondering if your are going to have super touchy steering with that long pitman arm.

I do not know how it is going to work as this is the 1st one he has built and yes he will be putting the steering on the bottom instead of the top, hopefully it'll be done this week-end and we'll try it out...Bob
