If you like the billet aluminum valve cover by Ambush racing, but don't care about the engraving - GPS sells them and you get the 10% discount with the code. For the Electric Engine - I wanted it to say "Hemi Power". Should get me some "Hemi Charger" stickers.

Would have been $58 shipped from GPS if I wanted the plain jane one, but even the engraving on the Valve Cover needed to be blueprinted. I wanted one of these for some time and the ratio rockers gave me a reason to buy one. Most places aren't offering it with the engraving, even though the pic may show it- call if you want to be sure. NR had the engraved version and the plain one.

Head should get worked on tomorrow.
0.035" Milling.
Larger Seat for 28.5mm Intake Valve
3-Angle Valve Job
Blend Seat to the Bowl.

I'll finish hand porting when I get it back. I already did some basic port work. Valve Job should be the last thing done, so I'll have to be careful with the seats.

I know Joe-405 had some issues with Dynocams machine work services, but I've always had a speedy return time.

I like it. It was like a buck and a half shipped. Had to massage the tank with the hammer a bit. Might not work in stock tank location but I was planning on throwing the tank on the rear rack, until I fit a real tank inside the fake one.

I think my head is done. Should ship back to me mañana.
Will check P2V clearance and CC the chamber once I have the cut head with bigger valve and valve job.

Need to take it apart and clean it. Right now all the screws and/or bolts are loose.

A little P&P work when I get it back, which makes me nervous with the freshly cut seats.
A nicely polished chamber will hopefully help if I am pushing the limits of 93 octane.

Also not sure how much to do to the ports???? I want good throttle response and low end, but since I have a bigger valve, do I need a bigger port throat? Also since my torque converter will hopefully keep my engine at 5000 - 5500 RPM, do the low RPMs really even matter???

OMG! would you hurry up and blow this thing up already! I want Carnage pics!:roflol:

Wait for the two days worth of oil sloshing. LOL

---------- Post added at 11:04 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:07 PM ----------

And what do you mean blow it up? LOL
This engine will be bulletproof.
Except for the Wildcard Flywheel - which may tear the engine apart at 5,199 RPM.
And of course the 11.1 CR on pump gas.
Not to mention the number of speed holes I added to the block in various locations.
Oh yeah, and the less than 0.030" Piston to Head Clearance.

PUSHING THE LIMITS, BUT ISN'T THAT WHAT BLUEPRINTING IS ABOUT?

So how do I wire an electric fuel pump?
I don't really know anything about relays.

I suppose I want the the pump to turn on when the key gets turned to the "Run" position.
I would like the pump to turn off when I kill the engine, most likely from a remote switch on the handle bars. I will settle for the pump turning off when I turn the key if that is going to be the the far easier way to do it.

You have to allow a long time for stuff to get here from China.

Funny thing is....you youngsters are spoiled. In the olden days, we had to "allow 6-8 weeks for delivery " for nearly anything we bought. Now, that's what it takes to get it from China.

That is IF the entire wagon train didn't die of dysentery. One case of diarrhea could wipe out a whole convoy.

Most of the time the stuff I order from China says it will take months, but usually shows up after two weeks. Just surprised that I can't find a store around me that has these in stock.

I want to try to put a 1/16 -27 Male NPT x 1/4" Barb 90* Elbow in the hole where the governor arm thing used to be.

I don’t know what this is? Some car trim.
12” Car PVC Rubber Lok Lock Pinch Edge Seal Trim W/Metal.

I like it. Seems like it might do what I want.
