Help with wheels/hubs identification - Brister's ThunderKart

I have what I believe is a vintage Brister's Thunder Kart. When attempting to find wheels that fit, I have found that the spindle is too short (3"). The kart came without wheels/hubs when I picked it up. I have purchased a few rims locally, but each one with 5/8" spindle ID tends to be exactly 3" hub length, which does not leave me any room for the jam nut. After googling similar Brister's karts, I believe the kart may be missing a hub assembly. From my searches, Brister's carts appear to have a 4-bolt two-piece wheel assembly. So..... I am looking for a hub and wheel setup that will accommodate a 3" - 5/8 spindle for the front and non-drive side wheel. Additionally, I will need a wheel set up for the drive side to accommodate a 5" - 5/8 spindle.

Hey I just ran into the same issue for my Thunder Kart, my options were to weld new axle bolts OR get these shorter hubs I found on BMI.. I ended up liking some wheels I found before I found those hubs so I’m going the weld new axles route, since those wheels fit the wider 3” hubs.. so I actually have these shorter hubs available if you’re interested. You’d just have to get the correct wheels that fit the bolt pattern (I messed up lol) let me know if you’d like these hubs, I planned on sending back to BMI & losing the restocking fee/shipping costs.

Part # 800312 & 262090 for these hubs (2-1/4” wide)IMG_6018.jpeg

and you’d need these wheels since they fit the smaller 2-13/16” bolt hole pattern:
