help with throttle linkage

Cant really figure out what to do here. Please help. First pic actuaaly has 2 springs hooked together and zip tied to frame. I know i need to shorten my throttle cable

The whole throttle body don't need to be used I always just ran it to the carb but I never kept the governer and the throttle body is connected to that or just take some brake cable off a bike and run it between the two

I want to keep the gov only due to the fact its a tecumseh motor and i dont wanna blow it

Yea it just needs a piece if brake cable to connect the two idk if it has something to secure the cable on the throttle body side thou it been a couple years since I messed with one these I stick with my Briggs and hondas......I would run a piece of shoestring from the throttle body through the loop by the carb then run a twist tie from the string to the carb but I'm a redneck and improvise any way I can
