Hi all,

I'm trying to find some clamp on rear pegs for my ct200u so my girl can ride on the back with me. I measured the circumference of the pipe and it's around 2.75" so that equates to 7/8" diameter piping.

I ordered some 7/8" clamp pegs from BMIkarts but they are WAY too big (see pics) am i measuring wrong or are those not 7/8" clamps.

THanks.

I think they measure pipe by the inside diameter. That's where your getting mixed up. Your trying to measure the outside.

Sorry I don't know where to send you for parts, but some one here will help ya with that.

Looks like 2 3/8" to me ÷3.14. =0.75, or 3/4" If all else fails use open end wrenches as a caliper.

Take the cone washers out of the peg clamps and tighten the dog snot out of them..

Actualy the measuring tape starts at after the black section (at the first line).

I took your advice and used the open end wrench and it measures 7/8" (pic below) So i'm still very confused... Should 7/8" clamp fit 7/8" piping?

I'd just take the cone washers out .. And torque the beegeezers out of the clamp. Do you have a welder ? ... You know what you need to do..

I just tried but the bold is too long. Maybe i should get the $90 120Amp welder from Harbor freight and just spot weld them on. Pretty disappointed they would send the wrong size.

Get your hacksaw out and "adjust " the bolt lengths... I wouldn't tack anything in place til she's in the seat and fitted... Your tape confuses me. Time to MOD it. BTW look at the pegs part #.. They sent you some pegs for 1-1/8 1-1/4 those cone washers are supposed to come in contact with the frame tube. Did they send you two sets of the frame clamps by any chance?

This is all i got, It says 7/8" on the box, and no extra frame clamps. I emailed bmi karts yesterday hopefully they respond. i don't want to cut anything just yet in case i have to send them back.
