Help with rear axle assembly

I’ve been in the process of fixing up a tired Manco 485 (I think) that has a 1” live axle. I took pictures during disassembly process but failed to take a detailed pic of the correct way to mount the bearing flangettes (if that’s the correct term). Does the flangettes sandwich the frame mounting brackets or get placed to the inside or outside of the frame mounting brackets. This is the factory Manco axle and bearings. If anyone happens to have a picture to show the correct mounting way I would greatly appreciate it. So far I’ve got the rolling chassis about 90% complete. I’ve got the bearing flangettes loosely sandwiching the frame right now while I wait for some more paint to come in.

The bearing supports mount on the outsides of the frame as one piece. Refer #28 in the illustration.

I always thought that a bearing hanger (1/8" flat steel plate) welded on dead center under the frame went between the 2 flangettes. I guess if that doesn't tightly and solidly sandwich the bearings themselves, I done been thunked rawng.
