Help with New Hornet 3170

I picked up a hornet frame. cheap.
The only thing is it has no engine. I planned on putting a predator 212
as this seems very common. but i noticed this kart has a raised mounting plate which i do not have. i can buy a new one but thats for an engine i plan on not using. I can't find much on this kart using another engine.

Before I go off on some major modifications I was hoping there was an easy mounting plate.
I see mounting plates but for other makes.
if anyone has info i'd love it.

Can you not just weld a new one on if the existing doesn't fit the 212? The small block mounting holes are often the same between models. The 212 might fit

i have the parts break down. I can buy the mounting plate the stock one. but i think that uses its own torque converter setup maybe thats why its so different?

I didn't want to spend the 130.00 on the OEM mount. when a mounting plate is like 30.00
My biggest concern is alignment. I don't have the ability to make the plate adjustable i have only hand tools

Any chance of buying the drive components for the LCT 136cc and installing them on the Predator? Maybe the drive clutch and belt? The Black Widow must have a proprietary mounting setup.
