In the cart i'm building, i'm running front yfz450 Calipers and a single Polaris predator 500 caliper in the back. In trying to research master cylinders, I figured why bother with the little single port one you are most likely to find for our application and go with a car manual M/C. In doing some research, I found that a 1980 Ford Fiesta has a nice little M/C with a bore size of .698 which is slightly larger than 5/8" but it comes with multiple ports so I can run the front seperate from the back. Here is a link to the one i'm looking at. Do you think it will work out for my setup? And I also have space in front to mount this directly in front of the pedal.

reposak, I'd think that MC would work just fine, just be sure that however you mount it and connect it to the pedal, that the MC pushrod is being pushed as straight into the MC as possible.

(as an aside, I used to have an '80 Fiesta, and it was a terrific fun and economical ride - I wish I could find another one, but I haven't seen one in years)

This is what I am running on mine in front of my pedal.

It brakes very hard and powers 2 front brakes and 1 axle brake. Make sure you bench bleed it though.
Curious, how does the brake pedal hook up? Is it solid to both of those center bolts? Installed pics would be great...

I will take some pictures tonight. It is solid. There are two adjustable pegs that screw on to the bolts. You just screw them on to the necessary placement and then a pin runs through the pegs with a cotter pin locking it down.

It is somewhat similar to this.
