I'm new to this chat room. I've had a honda odyssey two fifty for a few years now, since i was about thirteen, i think. the original engine has given me no end of trouble.... now i am interested in working on fun little toys.... but i have almost no experience.... i want to put a snowmobile engine in my honda odyssey... i've heard about others that have done this but i dont know where to start. would a 440cc even fit???? how would i go about this.... any advice, would be greatly appreciated.... thanks a lot!!!

Hi, tim, and welcome to the forum. Whereabouts in Ontario are you?

Our resident Odyssey guru is Bighead. If he doesn't catch wind of your questions in due time, send him a private message. When he cuts himself, he bleeds Ody- he'll have some good info for you.

About 40 mins north of Toronto. I envy you- trying to find an Ody around here is impossible! I've wanted one for a long, long time, and the only examples I ever see are not only waaaay overpriced, but too far gone to be accepted by a scrapyard.

This is the time of year to find a wrecked one on CL. Look for the $200 ones and offer less. Nobody wants to store them over the winter. Here are 2 that I bought last year. $150 & $100 for the complete sled. Red Kawasaki LTD with a 440 ran great. The White Polaris had the 340 and I had to clean it up before I got it running.
