Starting a restoration project on a kart a picked up last weekend. I've found out it's probably 60's Canadian made kart, but still researching exactly what it is. As seen in picture the set screw is missing, but not sure what type of pin or such is holding it on. Few pics to show so I hope it helps. Just don't want to damage anything before I get a punch out or something.

that's just a cotter pin (id that the correct term??)
Anyways, one end seems to be mushroomed, so get a driving pin and hammer it out from the opposite side ;)

PS A fair amount of penetrating oil should be applied a few days earlier ;)

Roll pin, need to soak the pin then get the right hammer and punch, and giver. Need to strik care fully so it will drive out smoothly. Could also drill it out but with out the ability to mount in a vice/drillpress. It will be difficult to drill straight.
