help on removing govener briggs 5hp

an links or directions on how to remove the govener, my axel collars will be in in a few days so i want to have it done and ready to go by then, plus where can i find a tac? can it be any tac or are their special ones for my engine?

There is lots of information about governer removal. I think there is a really good one that deals specifically with a 5HP Briggs.

Do a search on the forum as well for 'tachometer'. You will get some good ideas there too.
