Help- Need TAV2 Center Distance Dimensions

Anyone know where to find the center distances for the driver to driven on a TAV2?

From the TAV2 Comet manual - labeled but no reference dimension.

I am stuck trying to layout TAV2 + FNR gearbox with the 'stock' 27-21/64" (203589A) belt.

Belt lengths will vary with center distances, so I am guessing there is some table somewhere that lists this, but where?

Whenever I start a mock-up, I get the center to center distance and make a "belt jig" out of a piece of scrap square tubing.
I drill the holes as accurate to hole size, centerline, and at a 90* thru the tubing, so it holds the shafts parallel and at a
consistent spacing. Makes it a LOT easier to hold the F-N-R box square to the engine. While your dimension will be different, since you should have both 6" pulleys - this is my working draft for a 6"-7" TAV 30 converter. The pics are how close the box sits to the engine with stock 6" pulleys and a 203589A belt. Please ignore the ugly welds - liner in my welder was wore out.

Thanks Willie1, this is exactly what I am trying to work out. I think that in my case I need to increase my belt length. Finding the belt charts that were eluding me were the key.

I have a Comet FNR gearbox and it's not going to tuck up under my engine as nicely as yours. The input shaft and output shafts are opposite sides of the housing too.

I was working with limited front-to-back room in my go-kart so I had to move the engine higher/above the FNR gearbox to make everything fit.

Final distance center-to-center was 9.25" which just happened to be a perfect fit for a 203594A belt.

I would try to get the best packaging in the room provided and then tweak it a little to get the closest belt size rather than having the belt determine positioning. IMO

I made the bracket, then decided to upgrade to the 7" driven pulley, which wouldn't fit, and needed a different belt.
So then going off the chart I picked a better centerline distance and the correct belt for that.

My point for the post was mostly the belt jig tip. It holds the distance solid and the shafts parallel so you can focus on the height and clocking.
